Zimbabwe’s 🇿🇼Muslim population a mere 1% and Qadianism on increase – A great concern
Zimbabwe🇿🇼 is one of the 54 African countries that gained independence from British colonial rule in 1965. The current population of this country is 16.67 million, Out of which the official Muslim population is just 1%, rougly under 200,000! This is inclusive of all sorts of sects, also includes the accursed apostate Qadianis as well who are counted as ‘Ahmadi Muslims’ among the Muslim population.”
With this article I am sharing a picture, showing a local Qadiani team distributing their Free literature on the roadside with a bold display of their leader’s picture. Their open and bold actions in carrying out their activities can also be viewed on their Facebook page, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Zimbabwe.
Despite the country’s political and economic turmoil, there is religious freedom. Christianity is prevalent, with many large educational institutions and hospitals being run by Christian missionaries and external funding.
In Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital city, there are many large Christian centers and churches, some of which attract huge crowds on Sundays from 7 am to 5:30 pm.
Asian Muslims, some of whom are devout and pious, also reside in the city. However, the current state of affairs is disappointing and a matter of great concern. Some Zimbabwean acquaintances that I spoke to expressed sadness and concern.
Why is Islam not flourishing in the country? I maintain a keen eye on the history of this country along many other countries. Alhamdulillah, as someone with a master’s degree in international relations, I maintain a deeper understanding of the history of Zimbabwe and other countries…which need not be elaborated at this point.

بات بڑھ جائے گی یاران چمن جانے دو
(Rough Translation: Many secrets are hidden in my chest. – Let’s not prolong this conversation, friends, let’s move on..)
Apart from mere talk… there is no movement… nor action of plan…nor any future! Once, on seeing my religious work and photos, a brother once criticized and even insulted me ….however our Muslim brothers lack understanding of the manners and ways that our ancestors and Sufi saints preached. How they had sacrificed days and night in spreading the message of Islam. Those who enjoy the comforts and luxuries of this world today should remember that they will be questioned on the Day of Judgment!!
We claim to be ardent lovers of Mujaddid Imam Ahl-e-Sunnat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan علیہ الرحمہ and his services….and may we remain so….. If only his famous 10-point agenda, which he presented for the welfare and betterment of the Ummah could be implemented in our respective countries and inhabitants!
