Allama Zafaruddin Bihari May Allah have mercy on him was among the distinguished students and companions of A’la Hazrat who dedicated his life to preserving authentic Sunni scholarship. His services in teaching, research and propagation of Ahl-e-Sunnat continue to be remembered with great respect. He was born in the blessed land of Bihar and travelled in pursuit of advanced Islamic sciences, surrounded by faith and dedication to knowledge from an early age. He is counted among the great Sunni scholars of the twentieth century who were known for their depth of knowledge, piety and unwavering commitment to traditional Islamic scholarship. He played a significant role in spreading the teachings of A’la Hazrat throughout the subcontinent.

He studied under leading scholars including A’la Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadri Baraylvi and eminent scholars of Hadith and Fiqh. He specialized in Hadith, Tafseer, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Arabic Literature, Logic and Philosophy.

He received authorizations in Hadith and Islamic sciences from distinguished scholars. He became one of the leading scholars associated with the Razawi movement.
