Sadrush Shariah Mufti Amjad Ali Aazmi May Allah have mercy on him remains one of the most influential jurists in modern Islamic history. Early Education

He received his primary Islamic education in his hometown. He displayed exceptional aptitude for religious sciences from an early age.

Islamic Education

He completed advanced studies under eminent scholars, particularly under A’la Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadri Baraylvi and leading scholars of the Indian subcontinent. He mastered Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, Usool-ul-Fiqh, Arabic Grammar, Aqeedah, Logic and Philosophy.

Permission of Fatwa Ifta

He received authorization in Fatwa writing from A’la Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan.

Teaching Services

He served as teacher, Mufti and Shaykh-ul-Hadith in various institutions. He trained hundreds of scholars and Muftis. He dedicated his life to teaching and serving Islamic knowledge.

Literary Contributions

His written works include Bahar-e-Shariat in 20 Volumes, Fatawa Amjadiyyah, Hashiyah Bahar-e-Shariat and numerous Fatwas and scholarly articles.

Bahar-e-Shariat

His magnum opus Bahar-e-Shariat is considered one of the most comprehensive Urdu works on Hanafi jurisprudence. It is widely taught and referenced throughout the Sunni Muslim world.
