Mufti Muhammad Waqaruddin Qadri Razvi May Allah have mercy on him was one of the most distinguished jurists of Pakistan. His fatawa, teachings and students continue to serve Islam and Ahl-e-Sunnat throughout the world. He was born in the blessed city of Khamaria, Pilibhit and studied at Manzar-e-Islam Bareilly Sharif, surrounded by faith and dedication to Islamic knowledge from an early age. He is counted among the most distinguished jurists and scholars of Pakistan who were known for their deep knowledge, profound wisdom and unwavering commitment to serving the Ummah through Fatwa writing, teaching and spiritual guidance. He served as the Grand Mufti of Pakistan and played a vital role in guiding Muslims on religious and contemporary issues.

Islamic Education
He studied at Manzar-e-Islam Bareilly Sharif. He completed higher studies under Sadrush Shariah Mufti Amjad Ali Aazmi. He benefited from Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Raza Khan and Mufti Azam-e-Hind Mustafa Raza Khan.
Ijazat and Khilafat
He received spiritual authorization through the Razawiyyah Qadiriyyah chain. He was granted Khilafat by Mufti Azam-e-Hind Mustafa Raza Khan.
Teaching Services
He headed Darul Uloom Amjadia Karachi. He taught Hadith, Fiqh and Ifta for decades. He trained hundreds of scholars and Muftis.
Literary Contributions
His literary works include Waqar-ul-Fatawa, Zakat Ki Ahmiyat, Masail-e-I’tikaf and numerous Fatwas and scholarly writings.
Religious Services
He was a member of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. He was recognized as Grand Mufti of Pakistan. He served the Ummah through Fatwa writing, teaching and spiritual guidance.

Among his prominent students were Maulana Abdul Aziz Hanafi, Maulana Ismail Ziai and numerous scholars of Pakistan and abroad.
