```QURBANI BEFORE RAMI```
I had a query, due to the way things have worked here, we have been told that our qurbani was done before pelting. As ypu would know, this wasnt under our control and were doing as told and assume qurbani would be done. Therefore, would we still be liable to pay dam in this instance where it was not under our control. There is a hajj watsapp group and someone said they consulted a maulana/mufti and they said it is fine as not in our own control.

الجواب
It is obligatory for those performing Hajj e Qiraan or Hajj e Tamattu to ensure order in Rami, Qurbani & Halq. If they are not performed in order then Dum will be incumbent upon them.

▪️Allama Fareed uddin Alam Hanafi (786 AH) has written:
فی یوم النحر یقدم الرمی ثم الذبح ثم الحلق
"On Youm un Nahr, Rami will be first, then Qurbani and then Halq"

▪️Allama Ibn e Nujaim Hanafi (970AH) has clearly stated:
اعلم ان ما یفعل فی ایام النحر اربعۃ اشیاء : الرمی والنحر والحلق والطواف وھذا الترتیب واجب عند ابی حنیفۃ و مالک و احمد لاثر ابن مسعود او ابن عباس ۔من قدم نسکا علی نسک یلزمہ دم عندہ
"Be aware ! that four things have to be accomplished in Eid Days. Rami, Nahr, Halq & Tawaf. Order (tarteeb) in performing them is compulsory according to Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik and Imam Ahmed based on Hadith of Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood and Hazrat Abdullah ibn e Abbas : Whoever put forward / changed the order of Hajj actions Dum ( Slaughtering animal as rectification of mistake) will become obligatory on him."
📙البحر الرائق, کتاب الحج, باب الجنایات
▪️Allama Hasan bin Ammar Shrunbulali (1069AH) mentions under obligations of Hajj:
تقدیم الرمی علی الحلق ونحر القارن والمتمتع بینھا
"(It is compulsory) Rami will be done prior to Halq and Qurbani (sacrifice) will be done in between both of them by those who are performing Hajj e Qiraan or Hajj e Tamattu"
📗نورالایضاح
So for those people who have done their Qurbani before pelting, intentionally or unintentionally, they must give Dum as rectification of their error. Those people who are aware of Shariah rulings are extremely careful, they take proper training sessions before Hajj, remain under consultation of authentic scholars and with respect to captioned issue they proceed for Qurbani only after Rami has been done.
